Health and physical education develops resilience, a sense of personal and social responsibility and strategies for living a full and healthy life.

Why Study Health and Physical Education?

Students develop knowledge, skills, attitudes and values and strategies to enhance well- being. They develop understandings of self and others, make informed decisions and actively participate for the benefit of their own well-being, and that of others and society.

Physical education enables learning in, through and about movement. Physical education fosters critical thinking and active participation in a variety of movement contexts in different environments.

Health enables students to build resilience through strengthening personal identity and self-worth, developing skills for interpersonal relationships, empathy with others, and responsible decision-making.
