Welcome to 11MAT.

Students are currently studing for a statistics internal

In 11 MAT students will learn to

·         manipulate straight forward algebraic expressions, solve linear and quadratic equations, and recognise and produce linear and quadratic graphs to solve problems in a variety of contexts

·         use number knowledge and operations to solve problems in a variety of contexts

·         use measurement, trigonometry, Pythagoras and other geometric rules in a range of problems

·         use statistics and probability to explore data and deal with uncertainty and variation in a wide range of contexts

·         use appropriate technology to help solve problems in a variety of contexts

Pre-requisites: Students must have gained achieved or better in at least four of the year 10 mathematics standards or at the discretion of the head of faculty.
