You will learn to:

· critically analyse the impact of alcohol use on the youth of New Zealand.

 

· plan and implement a program to promote health within Pakuranga College.

 

· demonstrate an understanding of Health issues that impact the World.

 

· critically analyse the impact of HIV and AIDS on the people of Africa.

 

· critically analyse the impact of contemporary and ethical issues such as IVF and Euthanasia.

 

 

 

Pre-requisites: Students must have gained 12 credits in level 2 Health or Physical Education or Head of Department discretion if new to the subject.
